In late August, Te Komiti Nui met with the Minister for Treaty Negotiations, Hon. Paul Goldsmith, alongside Chief Crown Negotiator James Willis and the Te Tari Whakatau team.

Please be advised Te Komiti Nui o Ngāti Whakaue, in conjunction with Chris Scoggins, Chief UAV Pilot of Interpine Group Ltd, will be undertaking a drone fly over of Ngāti Whakaue traditional rohe, which we plan to undertake weather dependent during August.

Ngā mihi maioha to our Tikanga Committee for their guidance, direction and support over the last 10 years. During that time over $160,000 has been distributed to support our Ngāti Whakaue paepae, koeke, and iwi representation at kaupapa here and overseas.
